Breakfast Eateries Get Reviewed: Syrup by the Denver Post, Snooze by the Daily Camera

Syrup, the casual Cherry Creek North breakfast restaurant, got awarded three stars this week by the Denver Post. Restaurant critic Bill Porter, a self-declared egg guy, enjoyed the Double Berry Bliss, which he called a stack of pancake heaven. Porter also recommended the The Foster, your choice of pancakes, waffles or French toast topped with bananas. While he was not sold on the Carolina benedict, pulled pork with poached eggs, hollandaise and bit of sweet barbecue sauce, Porter highlighted the Aztec and Brooklyn omelet as standouts. [DP]

Boulder Daily Camera critic Liz Moskow reviewed Snooze and awarded the casual-hip breakfast eatery 2 stars for food and 3 respectively for service and ambience. With casual and friendly service, always aimed to make guests happy, Snooze dishes out creative breakfast options like the Breakfast Pot Pie, a giant puff pastry that rises above the plate, carrying two eggs any style, smothered with rosemary sausage gravy and served with hash browns. Moskow advises guests to not miss the French toast. [Daily Camera]
