Zydeco's, the Cajun restaurant that occupied the former Trios Enoteca wine bar in LoDo, had closed its doors for good. The restaurant opened in September, 2011 and served a traditional Cajun menu that included jambalaya, gumbo, chicken Creole, fried oysters, and beignets. The eatery, whose weekend brunch was a favorite with diners, was owned Andrew Esparza who shuttered his other restaurant, Fleur Bistro, in October of 2012.
The space is still full of some of Zydeco's furnishings and a note on the door thanks patrons for their business and memories, letting them know that each moment was enjoyed. Aside from the note, there is a big lock on the door and no news on what is on the horizon for the space.
