Li'l Devils, Ultra Lounge and Video Bar, a new gay bar housed in the former the Barker Lounge on South Broadway, opened its doors this past weekend. A series of celebrations began at Li'l Devils on Friday, December 28 with a Sneak Peak event, moved to Saturday with the Grand Opening, continued Sunday with a Bronco-watching gathering and Monday with a New Year's Eve party.
Initially, Tony Fleith, the owner, planned on applying for a tavern liquor license and cabaret license to allow for occasional light acoustic entertainment for special promotions. Fleith instead worked out a transfer of the existing tavern license and gave up the cabaret license application in favor of obtaining temp permits for special events a few times a year.
The lounge and bar will be open Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. and on weekends from 12 p.m. to 2 a.m.
