FORT COLLINS— Beginning this week and lasting until Saturday, October 12, The Mayor of Old Town is hosting the Tap Into Northern Colorado tap takeover of all 100 of their taps. On draft will be breweries, cider-makers, and meaderies from all over the northern half of the state. T-shirts sporting all of the companies' logos will be available for purchase. DOWNTOWN— Tonight, to lead into the week of the Great American Beer Festival, EDGE Restaurant is partnering with Blue Moon Brewing Company for a three-course microbrew pairing dinner. This interactive dinner will begin at 6 p.m. and costs for $39 per person. An expert brewmaster from Blue Moon will be attending the dinner to inform guests about each of the pairings. CONGRESS PARK— This Wednesday October 2 from 6 to 8 p.m., Instructor Susan Evans shares new ways to enjoy the fall harvest with fresh, seasonal ingredients at Harvest Feast at the Denver Botanic Gardens. menu includes butternut squash bisque; kale and apple salad with candied walnuts; and chicken breast stuffed with spinach, garlic and cheese.
