Thirteen Colorado breweries and one restaurant are showcased in a new craft beer-centric cookbook, The American Craft Beer Cookbook written by John Holl and published by Storey Publishing, that hit shelves last month. Euclid Hall, Avery Brewing, Crazy Mountain Brewing Company, Odell Brewing Co., Trinity Brewing, and Wynkoop are among the mix of companies that contributed recipes to this 350-page, coffee table-style book. Among their recipes are watermelon salad with endive, 90 Shilling rib eye marinade, and beer sorbet.

Author John Holl collected more than 150 recipes from breweries, bars, and restaurants across the country to compose The American Craft Beer Cookbook. He's also the editor of All About Beer magazine and the personality behind the show Beer Briefing on iHeartRadio.

"When I think of states that are synonymous with beer, Colorado is right at the top of my list," says Holl. " It's immeasurable what Colorado brewers have done for the rest of the country's beer scene. I wouldn't have been a book without [them]."

Next week, Holl will be in Colorado signing books during Denver Beer Week and the Great American Beer Festival. His book tour includes stops at The Forge Publick House and New Belgium Brewing in Fort Collins, Epic Brewing's new location in Denver, and Crazy Mountain Brewing Company in Edwards, Colorado.
