Tickets to the Great American Beer Festival sold out in less than half an hour and many beer fans were left out. One lucky Eater reader along with a guest will be able to attend the opening of the popular beer festival on Thursday evening, compliments of Visit Denver.
To kick off Denver Beer Fest (October 4- 12) and in anticipation of the Great American Beer Festival, Visit Denver launched the Denver Beer Trail. The trail is a fourteen breweries circuit including some of Denver's oldest and newest beer joints from Wynkoop Brewing Company to Great Divide and Crooked Stave. There is a map that goes with the guide and fourteener glasses (a 14 oz beer glass) are available for sale at each of the breweries.
To win the two tickets to Thursday's Great American Beer Festival, leave a comment explaining which of the 14 beers on the beer trail you would choose as your favorite and why. Leave an email address along with your answer. The winner will be selected through a random drawing and will be announced on Thursday at 10 a.m. Only comments that include an email address will be entered in the drawing.
