Two months after the floods that hit Lyons this fall, Spirit Hound Distillers resumed distilling and reopened this past Friday. The tasting room was rebuilt with a new bar and new garage doors, and all of the wooden tables and chairs have been refinished. The distillery has also added new equipment to its line-up.
Spirit Hound is back in action, distilling, packaging, and selling bottles of its gin, vodka and Richardo's Coffee Liqueur. The tasting room also offers guests and visitors signature cocktails and house-infused vodkas.
"We have seen so much goodwill from people who want to get up here and support our businesses," says co-founder Neil Sullivan. "It's been incredible." Those interested in contributing to the relief efforts can do so at lyonsfightsback.org.
