The RiNo neighborhood, already a popular destination for breweries like Black Shirt Brewing, River North Brewing Company, Crooked Stave, and Our Mutual Friend, got a new kind of brewery: a kombucha brewery. Happy Leaf Kombucha opened its doors at 3519 Brighton Boulevard last weekend.
A small business that started in a home kitchen like many other businesses less than six months ago, Happy Leaf Kombucha can be found at 14 locations throughout the Denver Metro Area, Boulder, and Golden. And now, its unique flavors, which include Spiced Pear, Lavender Peach, Dry-Hopped Prickly Pear, and its trademark flavor, Longevity (Lemon, Hibiscus, Ginger), can also be enjoyed in the tap room of the brewery.
Happy Leaf has launched a Kickstarter Campaign asking loyal fans to help take them to the next level. To get there, additional equipment and more is needed. A distribution plan that will add 10 new draft accounts and 20 new bottle accounts is in place if the team is successful in reaching their $6,000 goal.
The Tap Room offers tastings and bottles to go in a brewpub-meets-coffee-shop atmosphere and is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
