The Curtis Club, the former Curtis Street Tavern in Five Points, reopened with a new name and a new look on November 1. What used to look like a dingy sports club from the outside is now a sleek, contemporary building with a unique wooden design that reappears throughout the inside of the new gastropub. Plush chairs, chandeliers, and non-matching bar stools juxtaposed with wood elements create an edgy, urban-meets-rustic space.
The menu at The Curtis Club is especially gluten-free and vegetarian-friendly, with items like Brussels sprout pedals with toasted almonds, currants and queso, and a selection called the Chef's Vegetarian Carnival. Much like the restaurant's design, the menu is characteristically rustic in an urban setting. The menu is focused on sustainable ingredients, like wild foraged mushrooms and Colorado-sourced bass.
What else to look forward to at The Curtis Club: weekend brunch, a special late night menu, a killer happy hour, and a lineup of Colorado beer on tap, including selections from local breweries like Great Divide, Our Mutual Friend, and River North Brewing.
The Curtis Club is open daily from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.
