The Woodford Bourbon competition pitted six of Denver's top bartenders against each other last night at Delaney's. Among the competitors were including Allison Widdecombe of Williams & Graham and Chris Clewell of Session Kitchen. The winning cocktail, created by Kevin Burke of Colt & Gray was a Manhattan variant named All Mirth and No Matter. The drink combined Woodford Reserve with Dolin Sweet Vermouth infused with Chinese Gunpowder tea, and Braulio Alpine Amaro. [Eaterwire]
