Tomorrow, Saturday November 9 at 3 p.m., the documentary Hanna Ranch is premiering at during the Starz Denver Film Festival at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House. Executive producer Eric Shlosser, best-selling author of Fast Food Nation, Reefer Madness and most recently, Command and Control and producer of Food, Inc. will be there to introduce the film and participate in a post-screening Q & A.
In conjunction with the Film Festival and the screening of another food-related movie, The Land That Feeds Us, a brunch and discussion panel will be hosted at RedLine on Sunday November 10. Root Down and Linger will be preparing the brunch which costs $35 per person using 75 pounds of beef from Hanna Ranch. Proceeds will benefit Slow Food USA and The Nature Conservancy. Eric Shlosser will also be a panelist, among others. Chef Daniel Asher of RootDown/Linger will be moderating the discussion. , who's also catering using 75lbs of beef from the ranch.
