Arch Pizza, the St. Louis-style pizza joint in Park Hill, opened its second location in Lone Tree over the weekend. The restaurant at 8854 East Maximus Drive serves the same thin crust, square-sliced pizza, as well as sandwiches, salads, and specialty items like toasted ravioli and Provel bites.
Since its opening on Colfax and Krameria at the end of October, Arch Pizza became a neighborhood favorite, and fast. A Westword article says that in Arch's first seven weeks, it gained 4,000 Facebook followers, and reached more than 480,000 users. Customers are raving on the Facbook page, and many Denver transplants from the Midwest are calling Arch a taste of home.
Arch features St. Louis-themed pies like The Tangy Cardinal with grilled chicken, bacon, sweet pineapple, and tangy sweet sauce. The Mighty Mississippi is for meat lovers, with sausage, pepperoni, bacon, and Canadian bacon; The Arch is as traditional St. Louis-style pizza as it gets, with sausage, bacon, mushrooms, red onions and green peppers. And of course, all of Arch's pizzas include Missouri-sourced Provel cheese.
The new Lone Tree location has the same hours as the original Park Hill Arch: Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The Arch website says that two more locations are slated to open on Broadway and on Hampden.
