BOULDER— West Flanders Brewing Co. recently released its Obfuscation Trippel, a beer created from a recipe by Boulder homebrewer and beer journalist Dan Rabin, who won the brewery's homebrew contest this year. This Belgian-style beer is orange-hued, with ruit and candy aromas, and fresh citrus notes. It comes in a 7.5 percent ABV. Find the beer on tap for a limited time at the brewery on Pearl Street. DENVER METRO— Both locations of Atomic Pizza, on South Broadway and on East Colfax, are putting on the Playthings for Progeny. From now until 2 a.m. on Christmas eve, for every new and unwrapped toy that customers bring in, they will receive a Breckenridge Brewery beer on the house. [Eaterwire]

COLORADO SPRINGS— The Broadmoor is hosting the Five-Star, Five-Diamond resort's third annual Sommelier Bootcamp weekend from January 31 to February 2, 2014.
