First Look: Huckleberry Roasters On Pecos Is Now Open

The greatly anticipated opening of Huckleberry Roasters on 4301 Pecos is in full swing, serving their slow-roasted, small-batch roasts until 5 p.m. today. Huckleberry will be open every Tuesday through Sunday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., says the company's Facebook page.

To promote its big debut, Huckleberry launched the #4301Pecos hashtag campaign on Facebook and Twitter, coupled with teaser images of the first cup of coffee roasted at the new venue and the space itself.

Owners Koan Goedman and Mark Mann opened Huckleberry in 2011, and have since made a space for themselves in Denver's restaurants and cafés. "Much of our growth has come from the support, constant encouragement ,and constructive criticism of the Denver coffee scene," they told A Denver Home Companion earlier this year. "For example, Crema Coffee House took a bit of a gamble by featuring us prominently while we were still trying to dial in our own product."

Goedman and Mann admittedly (in the Denver Home Companion interview) took much longer than expected to open a brick + mortar location. Stay tuned for more from the very stoked owners.
