CARNIVAL OF ELIXIRS
When: Wednesday December 4, 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Where: Green Russell
What: Celebrate Repeal Day with Minor Note Orchestra and Ms. Vivienne VaVoom at the Green Russell, where specialty George Dickel cocktails will be featured all evening. Admission costs $10 and includes a drink ticket which will be entered into a raffle for a Goorin Bros. hat.

EL FLORIDITA REPEAL DAY CELEBRATION
When: Thursday, December 5, 8 p.m.
Where: Ste. Ellie
What: Celebrate the 80th anniversary of Repeal Day. During the dark, dry years of Prohibition, Havana, Cuba played host to scores of U.S. celebrities, authors, artists, and more providing world-class cocktails, risqué entertainment, and vibrant music. The Ste. Ellie bar staff will keep the spirit of Havana alive with era-appropriate cocktails with Bacardi Portfolio brands, prohibition-era photography, lively music, and more.

PARADE OF DARKS
When: Saturday December 7, 1 to 4 p.m.
Where: Wynkoop Brewing
What: This beer festival and fundraiser takes place just before the annual Parade of Lights. The fest features more than 80 winter seasonals, brown ales, stouts, sour beers, and barley wines from the best breweries in Colorado and beyond. All proceeds from the event go to Metro CareRing, Denver's largest hunger-relief organization.

BLACKBELLY WHISKEY DINNER
When: Saturday December 7, 6 p.m.
Where: Stranahan's Whiskey Distillery, 200 S. Kalamath Street
What: Blackbelly and chef Hosea Rosenberg are joining forces with Stranahan's Colorado Whiskey to host a whiskey dinner. Chef Rosenberg will curate a multi-course menu inspired by the limited release of Stranahan's Snowflake Whiskey. Each course will be paired perfectly with some of Stranahan's flavorful and smooth whiskeys and winter whiskey cocktails. Plus, guests will get a behind-the-scenes look at Stranahan's unique brewing process and facilities on a private tour of the distillery.

STEUBEN'S ANNUAL TOY DRIVE
When: Monday December 9, 9 p.m.
Where: Steuben's
What: The theme of this year's annual toy drive at Steuben's is James Bond, and guests who bring a toy valued at $10 or less next week will receive a complimentary cocktail. Drinks then costs $5 each, and will be made by guest bartenders Sean Kenyon of Williams & Graham, Mike Henderson from Root Down and Linger, and Kyle West from Gaslamp, among others.

HOLIDAY PARTY AND POP UP MARKET
When: Sunday December 8 and Monday December 9
Where: The Populist
What: A Christmas pop-up market featuring many Colorado food artisans including Ritual Chocolate, the Real Dill, Huckleberry Roasters and more.

WHITE TRUFFLE AND BAROLO DINNER
When: Monday, December 9 and Tuesday, December 10, 6:30 p.m.
Where: Frasca Food and Wine
What: This seventh annual dinner is an epic one— it's a five course meal by guest chef Ryan Hardy and guest sommelier Robert Bohr from Charlie Bird in New York, along with Franco Massolino from Massolino Wines.

GREAT DIVIDE TAP ROOM BEER DINNER
When: Tuesday December 10, 7 p.m.
Where: Great Divide Brewing Company
What: For the first time in its 20-year history, Great Divide is hosting a beer dinner in the taproom. It will feature four courses from the mobile eatery Mikes 2 Kitchen paired with Claymore Scotch Ale, Hercules Double IPA, Peach Grand Cru, and Chocolate Oak Aged Yeti.

DENVER BEER FESTIVUS
When: Saturday December 14, 2 to 6 p.m.
Where: McNicols Civic Center Building
What: This second annual festival has been a highly anticipated one after its successful launch last year. Denver Beer Festivus will bring together more than 20 local breweries, including new kids on the block Factotum, Former Future, and Jagged Mountain.

CHRISTMAS EVE IN PARIS

Where: Stir Cooking School
What: A cooking class where participants will learn how to create the perfect French Christmas Eve dinner. The menu includes herbed crepes with three cheese Mornay sauce and chocolate hazelnut yule log.
