Peach Street Distillers, a Colorado-based spirit maker, will join forces with Denver's Method Coffee Roasters to open a nano-tasting room and interactive educational space in early 2014. The new booze and caffeine attraction will be located in Larimer Square and its name is yet to be determined.
In a quaint space that is only 600 square feet, this collaboration will bring to the ever-hot Larimer Square a bottle shop in the front and a 10 seat bar in the back. Peach Street and Method will enlist the help of local craftsmen and designer to create their space, which will include a marble-topped bar with a base made from vintage wine casks.
The vision is to have the coffee and spirit uses take place at different times of the day. Method Coffee will serve pour-over coffee and hold cuppings during the day, while Peach Street will open the tasting room in the later afternoon with a focus on engaging, educating, and collaborating with consumers. Cocktails based on seasonal ingredients and customer preference will be created and served to guests. Both Method and Peach Street will also offer trade-focused education on their respective products.
