Old Major, one of Denver's most anticipated restaurant openings of 2013, has set its rather ambitious opening date to February 24. Many things can one restaurateur control, but the pace of the city signing off on permits is not one of them. Today, with a liquor license and certificate of occupancy in hand, chef Justin Brunson and Katie O'Shea Padro, who co-own the restaurant, are one step closer to making that date official.
Next week, when Old Major located at 3316 Tejon Street will open its doors to the public, the elevated farmhouse restaurant will unveil a spectacular kitchen, an innovative menu, and a highly trained staff, all in a space that is contemporary but comfortable. After the finishing touches are put on the space, a preview of the restaurant will be available at Eater. Stay tuned.
