Vote Now: chef Joanna Powell Made the Final National Round for Eater's Hottest Chef

Joanna Powell, pastry chef at Cafe Aion, is one of only four chefs up for Eater's Hottest Chef in America title and the voting poll is live NOW. Powell was crowned Denver's hottest chef on Thursday after a whole day of voting and this morning she won the regional round against the hottest of the hot chefs from Chicago, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, and Louisville.

A native of Mississippi, Powell has been in love with baking most of her life. After flirting with cake decorating in a grocery store, Powell attended pastry school at Culinary School of the Rockies and later landed the pastry chef position at Cafe Aion. Aside from her great skill in the kitchen, Powell was also named one of Colorado's hottest singles by 5280 Magazine in its February issue.

The polls close tomorrow, Wednesday, February 20 at 2 p.m. ET. Vote for our Colorado chef now.
