Corner House, the new Jefferson Park neighborhood eatery, will host a screening of A Place at the Table on Sunday, March 3 at 4 p.m. The film is a documentary that explores eating habits in America and how lawmakers can help relieve hunger for millions of Americans. A Place at the Table was co-produced by chef Tom Colicchio who is also featured in the film along with actor Jeff Bridges.
Chef Matt Selby of Corner House along with his business partner James Iacino will welcome guests into the dining room on Sunday and, in the spirit of the film and their personal commitment to the cause, they will donate 25% of proceeds from food and beverages served during the screening to Share Our Strength/ No Kid Hungry.
If you cannot attend the screening, A Place at the Table will be in theaters, available on iTunes, and On Demand starting tomorrow, March 1.
