Mountain Standard, a new restaurant to the Vail dining scene, got the attention of 5280 Magazine food editor Amanda Faison. Owned by the group that is behind the 35 year old Sweet Basil, Mountain Standard brings a well-balanced wood-fired-centric menu that does not overwhelm in the smokiness department.
