The Über Sausage Started Slinging Sandwiches and More in LoHi

New, 1 comment

The Über Sausage, a sausage-centric company that got its start at 2730 E. Colfax, has opened a second location in LoHi on Central Street between 15th and 16th, next door to Masterpiece Deli. The design of this 1200 square foot light-filled space incorporates elements from original location- natural wood tones and the accent red color. White walls and tile, comfortable booths for seating, and a counter for single diners in a rush complete the space.

The menu is larger at this location: three salads were added, all vegetarian, as well as a breakfast menu that includes the waffle Benny, a Nutella waffle, and a sausage-less breakfast sandwich. One new sausage sandwich was also added to the menu, as well as a section called Top Your Tots, giving guests the choice of several toppings for their tater tots.

In the next month, guests will be able to enjoy a patio accommodating about 40 people at large wooden community picnic tables. Additional seating will also be available inside on the second floor. A liquor license is pending, which will allow the Über Sausage to serve beer and Infinite Monkey Theorem wines in cans.

In the meantime, the sausage joint will be open seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday.
