Purple Door Coffee, a new coffee house with a non-profit purpose, will open its doors in the Five Points neighborhood on Monday, April 15. The two people behind this venture, Madison Chandler and Mark Smesrud, aimed to create an attractive destination with a hip yet comfortable vibe where guests have the chance to enjoy coffee sourced from local roaster Corvus Coffee, prepared by well-trained teens and young adults at risk and in need of a job.
With respect to the craft of coffee brewing, a modern interior studded with recycled materials, and a desire to attract coffee-lovers from all over the Mile High City, Purple Door is ready to start cranking out coffee drinks. The space is ready- here's a sneak peek of what's to come.
