Happy Hour Madness: the Newest Offerings at ACE, Trillium, and Old Major

UPTOWN— ACE rolled out its new happy hour menu, featuring food and drink specials as well as new late night hours. The Ace happy hour cocktail is fully customizable, allowing guests to choose a favorite spirit from a list of eight, then matching it with one of Ace's house-made sodas to create their own drink special for just $5. Beer and wine specials are available as well. Food was added to this new happy hour menu: $1 Dim Sum, Tiger Wings and Chinese Style Ribs, as well as other $2 and $3 offerings. BALLPARK— Trillium, the Scandinavian-inspired restaurant owned by chef Ryan Leinonen, has launched a new happy hour menu. Bar manager Parker Ramey and chef Leinonen have collaborated on pairing cocktails with best bites from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday. During Rockies home games, happy hour runs all night long. There are several draft beers and six different well spirit-based cocktails priced at $4, wine specials for $6, and ten different dishes priced at only $4. [Eaterwire]

LOHI— Old Major, the new and hot LoHi restaurant home of chef Justin Brunson, has recently unveiled its happy hour offerings. On the drink side, there are five $5 amaros, cocktails for $6, including the Gin & Juice and Cucumber Spritzer, the three special blends that the Infinite Monkey Theorem crafted for Old Major for $7, as well as several beers on draft and by the bottle. The food offerings are limited, but complementary to the drinks. They include, among others, Nuts & Olives for $6, Smoked Mussels in Swedish Mustard Sauce for $9, and a cheese plate for $13.
