Antonio's, a new restaurant that combines traditional Mexican food with New Mexico flavors, has opened in the space that formerly housed Terroir in Longmont. This is the second location of a restaurant that Antonio and Sarah Matus, the couple who owns it, opened in Taos, New Mexico, twelve years ago. The menu focuses on a combination of dishes that Antonio, a native of Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico, grew up with, influenced by traditional New Mexico dishes. Guests can enjoy everything from chile relleno burritos to enchilladas, sopapilla rellena, and cochinita pibil.
The restaurant offers vegetarian and gluten free options and promises to attempt to accommodate the requests of each guest. Antonio's is open for lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
