In the process of seeking the new cupcake and considering as contenders the macaron or the pie, donuts have been severely neglected. The reality of Denver is that a good donut is a commodity. Eater got that question: where to get a good donut? The answer is not easy, but Glazed and Confuzed Doughnuts makes it easier. Creating donuts like the Cadbury Egg Creme filled one, topped with semi-sweet chocolate shell and decorated like an Easter egg or the Breakfast, a maple and bacon infuzed glazed donut topped with thick crunchy hand cured bacon, Glazed and Confuzed Doughnuts is gaining fans left and right.
There is no brick and mortar location yet, but every Saturday morning, Glazed and Confuzed Doughnuts get dropped off at a few coffee shops around town: Weathervane Cafe (1725 E 17th Ave.), Corvus Coffee (1947 S. Broadway), Kaladi Coffee (1730 E. Evans Ave.) , and Jake's Brew Bar (2540 West Main Street Littleton). They sell out fast so get there early. Donut fans can also special order the donuts by calling 303.324.1112.
