El Chingon Mexican Bistro Will Open on Tennyson Street Late May/Early June

New, 4 comments

El Chingon, a Mexican restaurant that got its start in Arvada but closed that location in October, is now preparing to open in a new location at 4326 Tennyson Street, in an area that is booming with independently owned stores and restaurants.

The restaurant is family-owned and operated and it aims to use fresh ingredients and to make everything from scratch. While the menu has yet to be released, the kitchen led by executive chefs David Lopez and Gloria Nunez, will likely turn flavorful Mexican dishes rooted in authentic cuisine but with a modern twist like duck confit tacos, tostaditas de camaron, tamales verdes y rojos, and chef David's famous Papa Oaxaca soup. More details are forthcoming and the opening is tentatively scheduled for late May-early June.
