Colorado Wine Cocktail Competition; Mushroom Foraging; More

LODO— On Tuesday, June 4 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., the Green Russell will host the Colorado Wine Cocktail competition. Six of the city's top bartenders will be tasked with making terroir-inspired cocktails, bringing out the complex flavors of Colorado wine and mixing it with the bitters, spirits and other drink ingredients. Competing bartenders include Adam Hodak of Green Russell, Kevin Burke of Colt & Gray, Gerard Collier of Corner House, and Joe Hines of Williams & Graham. LONGMONT— For the first time in over 4 years, Left Hand's Belgian Tripel is back for the summer 2013. VAIL— The Four Seasons Resort Vail announced the return of "Mushrooms & Mercedes," a series of foraging expeditions guided for the third year in a row by Larry Evans. Attendees are escorted in a Four Seasons Mercedes to forage for mushrooms returning to the Resort's restaurant Flame for a dinner featuring the mushrooms picked on the hunt.
