Coloradans know and love Illegal Pete's for its fast-casual, Mission-style Mexican food. Now they can appreciate it for a whole host of other reasons too, including live music and bocce ball.
This summer Illegal Pete's will open a new location on South Broadway in a renovated property that now includes a restaurant, bar, patio and play area designed by Denver architect Melissa Friday of Xan Creative. Other landscaping and updates are also being done to the entire block.
The new venue will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and stay open until 2:30 a.m. Live bands are scheduled to play each week, and Illegal Pete's will have a stage during Denver's Underground Music Showcase from July 18 to 21. A grand opening party for the new franchise is slated for July 13. More information about its debut will soon be available at illegalpetes.com.
In the meantime, Illegal Pete's is hiring for the new South Broadway location, as well as its DU, DTC and Downtown locations. The new location will bring 30 new jobs to the area.
