LONGMONT— Yesterday, June 26, Denver-based hamburger joint Smashburger opened a new location in Longmont at 965 S. Hover Street, in the space formerly occupied by Blockbuster Video. This the 21st Smashburger in Colorado. The burger joint will be open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. [Eaterwire]

DOWNTOWN Skyline Market, a weekly Friday event offering food, vendors, and entertainment set in Skyline Park (16th Street at Arapahoe) is open every Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. through August 30. As part of the weekly market, the "Park to Table Dinner" features a Denver chef each week. BOULDER — On July 1, Frasca Food and Wine's Monday night wine dinner series features the winemaker Abe Schoener of The Scholium Project, Napa, California.
