If you are looking for the best of the best in all sorts of categories from home services to local personalities and , the July edition of 5280 Magazine may hold many of your answers. On its 20th year, the annual Top of the Town, this time edited by Daliah Singer, brings the editorial picks for each category in the print version and additional choices voted by readers online.
In the dining category, the editors highlighted, among others, Jax Fish House and Oyster Bar for the best seafood dish, Amerigo Delicatus for Best Restaurant for Kids, the Inventing Room for Best Dessert, and newcomer Glaze Baum Cake Shoppe for Best Bakery. For wine, the obvious choice was Frasca Food and Wine, the Boulder restaurant that received a James Beard Award this year for its wine program, while the Best Microbrewery title went to cultish Crooked Stave Artisan Project.
