Jimmy Russell at Oak at Fourteenth; Gather at the Botanic Gardens; New Happy Hour at Old Major

BOULDER — Tomorrow, Wednesday August 14, from 5 to 7 p.m., Oak at Fourteenth will host master distiller Jimmy Russell, best known for the Wild Turkey Bourbon. Russell has been making bourbon in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky at the Austin, Nichols Distillery for 54 years. CONGRESS PARK— On Monday, August 19 at 6:30 p.m., the Denver Botanic Gardens will host Gather, a spontaneous supper featuring the cuisine (and company) of Bittersweet's chef, Olav Peterson. Gather is a quarterly event where a celebrated local chef showcases his or her culinary talent through a special menu and experience for attendees. Each exclusive event is limited to 75 attendees, served at a long family-style table in Denver Botanic Garden's Orangery, features five courses of seasonally-inspired cuisine, and is BYOB. LOHI— Old Major launched a new happy hour menu and new hours for the special deals.
