Glaze Baum Cakes, the Japanese-inspired bakery located in Congress Park, makes highly "giftable" sweets, says the Washington Post. To make the baumkuchen, the staple of the bakery, owner Heather Alcott imported a highly specialized and costly Japanese oven, the only one in North America.
