EDGE Brings Pastry Chef Ryan Schmitt to Its Kitchen

There is a new pastry wiz in the kitchen at the Four Season Hotel Denver. The luxury hotel brought on Ryan Schmitt as executive pastry chef. He came from the Beverly Wilshire, s Four Seasons Hotel, in Beverly Hills, where he served as assistant pastry chef for the past two years.

Before working for the Four Seasons group, Schmitt was the assistant pastry chef at Gordon Ramsay and the London West Hollywood, a 200-room hotel and Michelin rated restaurant. His background also includes stints as lead pastry cook at Carmel Valley Ranch and pastry cook at Boca Raton Resort & Club.

"We are delighted to welcome Ryan Schmitt to our fabulous food and beverage team," said Chris DeChillo, director of food and beverage at Four Seasons Hotel Denver in a press release. "With his 10 years of pastry experience in a variety of establishments from large to small, Ryan is going to bring a lot of talent and creativity to the pastry team at Four Seasons Hotel Denver," he added.

Schmitt is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu at Orlando Culinary Academy in Orlando, Florida. At the Denver outpost of the Four Seasons, he will take on the tasks previously fulfilled by executive pastry chef Christopher Jordan who departed last year for Qatar.
