LOST IN THE WOODS SOUR BEER PARTY
When: February 1, 7 to 11 p.m.
Where: New Belgium Brewing Co.
What: The second annual "Lost in the Woods" sour soiree celebrates New Belgium's passion for sour beers, highlighting the brewery's expanded wood cellar and the fourth collaboration with Frank Boon for the latest version of Transatlantique Kriek, a sour cherry beer. The event is also the release party for this year's La Folie sour series. A sour beer symposium will be held before this event- tickets will be sold separately.

SUNRISE RANCH CULINARY ACADEMY

ALTON BROWN LIVE
When: February 5
Where: Union Colony Civic Center, 701 10th Ave., Greeley
What: Alton Brown, star of Good Eats, brings his brand of quirky humor and culinary-science to Colorado. A show will be a unique blend of stand-up comedy, good experimentation, talk show mischief, multimedia lecture, and live music.

BAD APPLE POP UP

MASTER OF THE BREWNIVERSE
When: February 13, 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.
Where: The Oriental Theater, 4335 W 44th Avenue
What: The Masters of the Brewniverse, created by Wynkoop Brewery, will showcase 16 different breweries competing in this hilarious version of a pageant.

VALENTINE'S DAY AT GUARD & GRACE
When: February 14
Where: Guard & Grace, 1801 California Street.
What: Chef Troy Guard will be opening his largest concept yet in February. A 9,000 square foot modern American steakhouse, Guard & Grace will serve a special $85 four-course Valentine's Day menu that includes dishes like an open-faced lobster ravioli with roasted mushrooms, spinach cream, and lobster cream sauce and a
8 ounce NY strip + 6 once king crab legs surf & turf plate.
