From now until April, Imbibe and Industry Denver give Denverites the twelve weeks of Christmas in spring with the Angelshare cocktail program. Every two weeks, a different restaurant and distillery will be paired, and the restaurant will offer a $5 cocktail featuring that distillery's spirits.
The first installment is Ancestral Cocktails. From now until February 11, Coohills will offer the Envy of Sno White cocktail with J&L Distillery's Sno Gin.
In February, the Curtis Club and Feisty Spirits, as well as Freshcraft and Downslope Distilling will offer Angelshare cocktails, themed flips, fizzes, and nogs; and Mardi Gras, respectively.
The rest of the series includes JAX Denver and Deerhammer Distillery (themed distiller's choice); LOLA and Dancing Pines Distillery (themed high balls and collins'); and Star Bar and Breckenridge Distillery (themed tropicals, punches and patios).
A dollar from each cocktail will be donated to Heroes Like Us. Heroes Like Us is a Denver-based nonprofit, created by Chef Jensen Cummings and a league of chefs, bartenders, and food and beverage vendors.
