PARK HILL— Beginning Thursday January 9, the newly opened Station 26 Brewery will start the Firkin Thursday program. For their first firkin, they will be tapping a Coffee Red IPA, brewed with Colombian coffee beans. Next week's firkin will be a red IPA with chipotle chilis and cocao nibs. The firkin will tap at 4 p.m. and go until 8:30 p.m. [Eaterwire]

WESTMINSTER— Westminster's newest brewery, Kokopelli Beer Co. located at 8931 Harlan Street, will celebrate its grand opening Friday January 10 at 2 p.m. The new business opens its doors with six beers available: a pale ale, a white Belgian ale, an ESB, an amber ale, and IPA, and a milk stout. DOWNTOWN— Uncorked Denver will host a special wine tasting event that features wines from Tuscany and Sicily at Restaurant Lab in the Hospitality Learning Center at SpringHill Suites Denver Downtown at MSU Denver this Saturday January 11 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. This tasting costs $28.99 per person, and tickets must be purchased here in advance. RINO— This Sunday, Kassia's Pasta Farm will offer a pasta-making class at Infinite Monkey Theorum that focuses on adding vegetables into pasta. In addition to advice about recipes, kneading, add-ins, and pasta-making machines, guests can take in wine samples from Infinite Monkey. BALLPARK— On Wednesday, January 22, Trillium presents the last of the Scandinavian Dinner Series with a four-course prix fixe dinner including beverage pairings inspired by the cuisine of Denmark.
