It's not too late to score tickets to one of the country's most talked about beer festivals: the Big Beers, Belgians, and Barleywines Festival at the Vail Cascade Resort. It's the biggest Big Beers yet, with more breweries an an expanded lineup of events.

The commercial tasting festival takes place Saturday January 11 from 2:30 to 6 p.m. in the Gore Range Hall, located in the Aria Club & Spa building along Frontage Road at the entrance to Vail Cascade Resort. As is the tradition at Big Beers, the fest sports some of the country's best imperial, Belgian-style ales, and barleywines, this year including pours from many Colorado breweries, as well as out-of-state companies like Deschutes Brewing and Dogfish Head. Purchase fest tickets here.

Events leading up to the pinnacle festival event on Saturday— including a seminar on winter beers, a cooking with beer workshop, a homebrew competition, and a beer and cigar pairing experience— are lead by many of Colorado's breweries, including Avery, Very Nice Brewing Co., Funkwerks, Trinity Brewing, and Crooked Stave. Tickets to these separate events are available here.
