It's been seven years since Leigh Sullivan of Leigh Sullivan Enterprises launched the Denver FIVE, an organization that brings together talented local chefs to represent the city's culinary scene on a national level, and the class of 2014 is not just an all-star one, but also an all women one.

Without further ado, the five ladies representing Denver FIVE this year are: Elise Wiggins, executive chef of Panzano, Aniedra Nichols, executive chef of Elway's Cherry Creek, Carrie Shore, executive chef of Table 6, Nadine Donovan, pastry chef at Old Major, and Jenna Johansen, innovation chef at Epicurean Catering and an alumna of the Denver FIVE.

"Over the past several years I have seen a real renaissance in female-led culinary programs," says Leigh Sullivan. "Each chef on our roster is not only a female who is helping shape our restaurant scene, but they are leaders in the field, trailblazing new roads in our Colorado culinary scene. I know I say this every year, but this 7th class is a milestone for the FIVE™ tradition and I am honored to be working with these amazing women," Sullivan adds.

Denver FIVE will continue its schedule of FIVE dinners, an appearance at the FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen, and the yearly pilgrimage to the James Beard House in September. A full schedule of events, tickets and locations will be available by visiting the Denver FIVE website.
