Pink Drinks In October; New Brews at Sanitas; More

From cooking with pumpkin to chasing a new beer in Boulder, the week's specials and events are enticing.

BALLPARK - Nothing says autumn like the proliferation of pumpkin, as evidenced by the Main Ingredient: Pumpkin class at Cook Street. LODO - Enjoy a Pink Ribbon Agua Fresca at Tamayo, Zengo and La Biblioteca during the month of October in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Richard Sandoval Restaurants will be donating $1 from each drink sold to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. [Eaterwire]

BOULDER - Sanitas Brewing Company are preparing for the release of their third year-round beer. The brew, called Sanitas IPA, is deep in gold color, and has a base of organic English and German malts. The aroma and flavor are dominated by overtones of exotic fruit and wet pine from a blend of both American and Australian hops. Sanitas IPA will be canned and kegged Tuesday the 14th, and released shortly after in Denver and Boulder. [Eaterwire]

CIVIC CENTER PARK - Tickets for the Denver Beer Festivus are now on sale. The Festivus is on December 13 from 3 to 6:30 p.m. at the McNichols Building at 144 West Colfax. The price of admission is $40; tickets can be purchased here. [Eaterwire]
