From 21-and-over-only late night parties to a Halloween-themed culinary date night and Dia de Los Muertos celebrations, there is something for everyone on the weekend calendar.

Oak at Fourteenth is hosting a Halloween Party on October 31 from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. The theme is 'Dexter' -- the bar will be turned into a "kill room." The event is 21 and up only, and is $10 at the door. For more details, call

The Cosmic Pong Party will take place at ACE on October 31 starting at 8 p.m. There will be a DJ and dancing, drink specials all night, and a costume contest with prizes, among other attractions. The "Halloween Night: See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Drink No Evil" party runs from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. at Infinite Monkey Theorem. Along with newly launched cans of wine, the Wine Lab will be serving other signature IMT beverages including a mulled wine, and its award-winning ciders. Roaming Bull Brasserie food truck will serve European-style dishes, and entertainment is provided by a line-up of DJs including Ivy (Easy Killer, CMKY, Make Mistakes), and Ejay (Hotbox, Spellbound, Easy Killer). Other Halloween twists include art installations by Ryan Willard of Marion Street Tattoo and Gallery and visuals by The Watcher. There is no cover charge for this event,. Spend your Halloween with a date night at Cook Street. On October 31, a Culinary Date Night will be offered, something that is guaranteed to stir up more than just delicious dishes! The course, complete with a meal and two glasses of wine, costs just $89 per person. Find tickets here.

Starting at 3 p.m. and until close, at Humboldt Farm Fish & Wine costumed kids are welcome to trick or treat for candy. Every adult with a costumed child gets a free shot of Fireball.


In celebration of Mexican culture, art and entertainment, The Denver Botanic Gardens in holding its inaugural Dia de los Muertos Calavera Ball ¡Viva la Muerte! on November 1st. The event will include a "live art" demonstration, artist-created altars, face painting, live performances and music. General admission tickets are $60, and can be purchased here. Tickets include special cultural food and beverages, as well as a silent auction to benefit Denver Botanic Gardens and Cole Arts and Science Academy. VIP tickets are $75 and will include early entry, light hors d'oeuvres, specialty cocktails and a handmade commemorative piece.

To celebrate Dia de los Muertos, Comida Cantina will be building its own altar to honor the favorite foods, beverages, and memories of loved ones. The weekend will be filled with food and drink specials at both Comida locations in Longmont (721 Confidence Drive) and Denver (3350 Brighton Boulevard).

At both locations of the ViewHouse (2015 Market Street in Denver and 7101 South Clinton Street in Centennial), Day of the Dead Mass hysteria ensues with the rise of dancing dead. Join in on the fun with giveaways and chilling drinks like Bacardi Bat Bite shots and the Bacardi Zombie. The most possessed costume receives a $1,000 cash prize.
