DIA DE LOS MUERTOS
In celebration of Mexican culture, art and entertainment, The Denver Botanic Gardens in holding its inaugural Dia de los Muertos Calavera Ball ¡Viva la Muerte! on November 1st. The event will include a "live art" demonstration, artist-created altars, face painting, live performances and music. General admission tickets are $60, and can be purchased here. Tickets include special cultural food and beverages, as well as a silent auction to benefit Denver Botanic Gardens and Cole Arts and Science Academy. VIP tickets are $75 and will include early entry, light hors d'oeuvres, specialty cocktails and a handmade commemorative piece.
To celebrate Dia de los Muertos, Comida Cantina will be building its own altar to honor the favorite foods, beverages, and memories of loved ones.
