New Design, New Menu at Earls Downtown

Why open once, when you can open twice? The Downtown Earls location is reopening its redesigned space in two phases this month and in November.

The Downtown location of Earls Kitchen + Bar, which began a large renovation earlier this month, is reopening in two phases. The restaurant's lower level opened earlier last week, while the rest is scheduled to open later in November.

"With Denver being such a progressive city, and known for its great food and excellent design, we felt it was important to update our downtown location," said said Wendy Tait Sakich, managing director of design at Earls Restaurant. Updates in the restaurant include a new patio, a more open dining room, all within a much lighter color palette, a big departure from the previous dark wood steakhouse-like environment. Local artists' artwork is on display in both the upstairs and downstairs dining rooms.

Along with updated digs, the executive chef Jonathan Fraser has also spiced up the menu with some new fall items. The bar is stocked with handmade syrups and fresh-squeezed juices, along with a hearty assortment of Colorado beers showcased on tap.

The downstairs floor reopened last week. The rest of the restaurant is scheduled open on November 20.
