RiNo keeps getting hotter and with two restaurants in the works in the neighborhood, chef Jeff Osaka has a little something to do with that.

What is now a 20,000 square foot building still under construction at 2601 Larimer Street will soon become home to offices, retail spaces, as well as several restaurants. Among those is Sushi Rama, a new eatery from chef Jeff Osaka, who recently closed Twelve and is gearing up to open Osaka Ramen.

On this new sushi venture, chef Osaka is once again joining his landlord Ken Wolf with whom he has previous experience on his space for Twelve as well as the the soon-to-be ramen shop located at 26th and Walnut.

The building set to house Sushi Rama is simply called 2601 Larimer, as its address. This former rag recycling facility has been transformed by Tres Birds Workshop into a contemporary light-filled space where the indoor-outdoor transitions are smooth. There are mezzanines open to the street with great views and thoughtful design details, including Douglas fir beams and 20-foot ceilings.

When it's all said and done, the corner of Larimer and 26th should look a little something like this.

Stay tuned for more tenant updates for the building and details on Sushi Rama.
