Copain Wines at Frasca, Fade to Black Returns; Raw Dinner at Root Down

BOULDER - On November 3, Frasca Food and Wine will welcome Wells Guthrie of Copain Wines for its Monday Night Dinner series. Copain is making more wines from more grapes and sites than ever before. The prix fixe four course tasting menu is $50 each week. Optional wine flights range from $40 to $50.

LONGMONT - Favorite local brewery Left Hand is bringing back the original edition of Fade to Black, its Volume 1 Foreign Export Stout, available throughout winter 2014. BALLPARK - Cook Street School of Culinary Arts is offering a Classic Techniques: Essentials I course. The class is on November 3, 10, 17, and 24 from 6 to 9:30 p.m. It's a comprehensive course that covers the foundations of cooking. LOHI - The renowned Raw Dinners at Root Down continue this Tuesday, November 4, with a menu prepared by chef Daniel Asher and raw-food certified sous chef Sarah Phillips. The dinner will span from 6 to 10 p.m., including a four-course meal made from fresh, raw ingredients.
