This weekend for dinner only at the Highland location (3300 W 32nd Avenue), Pinche Tacos will offer a Non Taco menu. That's right! Chef and restaurateur Kevin Morrison decided to experiment with a monthly non-taco menu served one weekend each month.
The inaugural menu, available through Sunday while supplies last, features Prince Edward Island mussels with chorizo, Arbol chile broth, and saffron aioli, a lamb shank with esquite, and cotija creamed spinach, and a chocolate torte made with bourbon dark chocolate ganache and served with pumpkin seed brittle and lemon cream. The appetizer and dessert are $7 and the meaty entree $17; good value was a priority for the restaurant.
Next weekend, the restaurant's original location (1514 York Street) will get its turn at a weekend with this menu. All the regular offerings are also available while this special runs.
