Book-Signing; Firefighters Calendar Benefit; Beer Dinner; More

Beer, bubbles, book signings, and scantly clad firefighters: That's what's on the upcoming calendar of events.

EAST COLFAX - Colorado Public Radio will hold its next edition of "Colorado Matters," with a live audience at Tattered Cover on 2526 East Colfax Ave. Host Ryan Warner will interview 5280 Food Editor Amanda Faison and speak with Colorado Chefs Dana Rodriguez of Work & Class and Kelly Whitaker of Basta and Cart-Driver, who will provide food samples as well! CHERRY CREEK - This Wednesday, November 12, feast your appetite and your eyes on the offerings at Patxi's Cherry Creek location at 185 Steele St. Ten percent of the entire day's sales will benefit the Colorado Firefighter's Calendar, and from 6 to 8 p.m., some of the charitable eye candy will be on-site to sign your 2015 calendar. BOULDER - OAK at Fourteenth will collaborate with Avery Brewing to feature a 6-course beer dinner paired with beers from the cellar of Adam Avery himself. The dinner, featuring grilled swordfish and smoked shortrib, will take place on November 19, with Beer Hour at 6 p.m. followed by the dinner at 6:30 p.m.. GOLDEN - Kick off your holiday season with The Briarwood Inn's Holiday Champagne Tasting on November 21 at 6:30 p.m.. Fine food paired with champagne and sparkling wines from across the globe will dazzle all who attend. Tickets are $45 per person and can be reserved by calling 303.279.3121.
