Crave, a Sweet and Savory Spot Downtown, Is Closed for a Renovation

The dessert bar and eatery will offer an expanded menu once it reopens the first week of December.

Downtown eatery Crave, which originally opened as a dessert bar, is currently closed as it undergoes a remodel that started October 27. The work entails expanding into the next-door space that housed Organic Pizza Company, both of which are owned by Allen Milham.

Back in September the lunch-focused pizza spot's menu was incorporated into that of its sister establishment, combining the two concepts under the Crave name. As a result, Crave has carried on lunch service with pizza, wraps, soups, and sandwiches, and at night the vibe switches over to small plates, appetizers, and, of course, desserts.

The changeover to a full-service restaurant means the venue is receiving upgrades including a full dining room and expanded bar area—together Crave will be able to seat up to 150 people total. The decor of the additional space is also being changed to match the existing Crave look.

Once Crave reopens in early December, the menu will offer about 10 to 15 small plates, four to five entrees, and eight to 10 desserts, which will be served all day.
