Greenwood Village is now home to a new coffee shop. Espresso Americano, a Honduras-based coffee company, opened its first of five U.S. locations yesterday, November 17. The company has 165 international locations throughout Honduras, Panama, Costa Rica and Nicaragua. The U.S. expansion plan begins with the location at 5322 DTC Blvd, No. 200. "As we sought a location for our entry into the U.S, we recognized that the Denver coffee drinker is sophisticated and appreciates the independent companies that offer an authentic experience," said David Kubena, Director of North America for Espresso Americano.
The new Denver space is 1500 square feet and has approximately 50 indoor and outdoor seats, including a community table, bar and lounge seating. Besides serving Arabica beans at the core of its drink menu, Espresso Americano also has a limited food menu. For breakfast, customers can choose from a variety of breakfast burritos and quiches, while for lunch the selections include several salads and homemade paninis. Baked goods and dessert items will be available throughout the day as well. For a unique treat, Espresso Americano offers granita freshly made in-store.
Hours of operation are Monday to Friday 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
