Checking On the Progress at North County in Lowry

The California-inspired taqueria is set to open December 15.

The Hangar 2 development, which includes the Lowry Dining District, is set to gain another eatery come December 15, when North County opens. Currently under construction, the taqueria is inspired by the beach culture north of San Diego, California.

Once open, you'll find a menu bringing a taste of that region with fish tacos, ceviches, oysters, mussels, tortas, and salads. Seafood will be flown in fresh daily, and the homemade tortillas are to come in flour and corn options. The margaritas and specialty cocktails will benefit from fresh-squeezed juices and 100% Blue Weber Agave tequilas, while craft beers from California and Mexico, an extensive wine list, and spiked sodas batched and bottled on location round out the beverage program.

North County is located at 94 North Rampart Way and will be open for lunch and dinner.
