Country Time BBQ Closes Unexpectedly

Country Time BBQ, the award winning barbecue joint in Southwest Denver, closed, Cafe Society reported. Gone are the days of brisket and pork being "done right" in the take-out only shack located in Sheridan. The barbecue sauce was crafted by one of the owners' southern grandmother, and the secret smoking technique combined two kinds of wood. The combination of the two landed the smokehouse on many top lists for best barbecue in the metro.

Barbecue lovers can rest assured, though. Sources say a new (undisclosed) location is in the works. In the meantime, diners can hit up the metro area's other top barbecue spots.
