New Look, New Era Begins at Crave Downtown

The former dessert bar celebrates a grand reopening tomorrow.

Located in the Spire building Downtown, Crave is set to reopen tomorrow with an expanded space and menu. After absorbing sister concept Organic Pizza Company next-door in the fall, a renovation began to unify the two. Crave has been closed for a little more than a month, but is now ready to reveal the new look.

Owned by Allen Milham, Crave has evolved from a dessert bar into a full-service restaurant that spans lunch, weekend brunch, dinner, and dessert. Brunch is an addition to the concept, and the lunch menu keeps things light with wraps, salads, sandwiches, and pizzas. In the evening, the kitchen switches gears to offer small plates like green curry potstickers, charcuterie and cheese boards, and chef-inspired entrees—think whiskey grilled salmon or chicken carbonara.

Dessert is still a highlight and served all day, with pastry offerings including banana cream cake or coconut milk scones. Pair a sweet treat with champagne, port, coffee, or espresso, in addition to the bar's wine, cocktails, and local beer list.

The upgraded space now welcomes more diners—about 150 people total, plus a patio that looks out to the neighboring Colorado Convention Center. A large, curved bar is set within the main dining room that features warm earth tones and cream-colored banquettes to give a lounge vibe.

Crave is located at 891 14th Street and will be open Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to midnight, and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
